The world of Peter Rabbit at The Peninsula London
Spring has sprung at The Peninsula London, with a collection of delightful experiences to welcome the season. To celebrate the beloved children’s book character Peter Rabbit, created by British author and illustrator Beatrix Potter, the hotel has launched a Peter Rabbit-inspired Afternoon Tea, specially themed room package and family-friendly cinema experiences (until April 28).
The afternoon tea (priced at £95 per adult and £55 per child) is offered in The Lobby and features a collection of quintessentially English dishes inspired by Mr McGregor’s Garden and the Lake District and includes the likes of Battenburg cake with raspberries, carrot cake pots, and cream cheese and rhubarb chutney sandwiches.
All are served against a Peter Rabbit-themed décor, with special colouring books featuring Peter Rabbit gifted to children.
The special Peter Rabbit-themed stay – the “London Adventure” package – includes exclusive Peter Rabbit children’s bathrobes, handcrafted chocolates and children’s soft toys. Additionally, guests have the chance to participate in a variety of playful Peter Rabbit-themed experiences throughout the hotel.
Rates from £1,295 in a Deluxe Room (one adult and one child) or from £2,550 in a Junior Suite (two adults and two children) per night, including one night’s accommodation, breakfast, Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea and Peter Rabbit in-room amenities.
Complimentary, family-friendly screenings of The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends, a classic animated series that brings the stories to life will be hosted in The Cinema at The Peninsula London, on Saturdays between 2pm and 5.45pm.
