Maddox Tavern, tailor-made for Mayfair
Having spent much of its life as a high-end gentlemen’s outfitters, 47 Maddox Street has been lovingly refurbished to proudly serve the Mayfair community once again. Seamlessly blending New York tavern, rich local heritage and modern, metropolitan charm, Maddox Tavern is a very British brasserie.
ALL-DAY DINING
Located just off Bond Street, Maddox Tavern is open all-day, seven days a week. The Tavern area offers breakfast, light lunches and sharing boards, while The Dining Rooms menu is built around steak, seafood and elevated British classics.
Head chef, Jon Grimes, and chef director, Stephen Boucher, work closely with suppliers to present a daily menu using the freshest and finest produce, including rare breed meat from Huntsham Court Farm in the Wye Valley and exceptional quality, sustainable fish from Reach Food.
COFFEE, WINE & COCKTAILS
Head of drinks, Tony Vega, has created a drinks offering with an unrivalled wine list at its core. Celebrating some of the most respected producers from across Europe and beyond, the Maddox wine list is presented together with a selection of impeccable cocktails and one of the finest whisky trollies around. Hot drinks are supplied by Dark Arts Coffee, the Rare Tea Company and Land hot chocolate.
CELEBRATIONS
With its original mahogany cabinets and mezzanine still in place, Maddox Tavern can offer a variety of unique options for events and celebrations. These include four private dining spaces that were once used as fitting rooms for clientele including Winston Churchill, as well as the great and good of the local area.
