With Balmain at Sofitel London St James
Sofitel London St James is offering a fashion afternoon tea to celebrate the international launch of ‘Balmain Dreams 10: OR’, a thematic anthology collaboration between Balmain and Z2 Comics, which showcases creative director Olivier Rousteing’s iconic collections from the past decade.
Served in the hotel’s Rose Lounge until March 3, the tea is the first of an international series of fashion afternoon teas designed to celebrate the launch, spanning Sofitel hotels and resorts in London, Dubai, Singapore and Seoul.
The menu features sweet and savoury dishes created by head pastry chef Jamie Warley in a setting complemented by designs from Rousteing’s current collection. Guests will also be able to explore ‘Balmain Dreams 10: OR’ digitally via tablets within the lounge.
Expect treats such as leek and potato soup, pulled pork gyoza with soya and ginger and truffle gougères, along with delicacies including Citrus Choux Bun; Praline, chocolate and caramel Delice; and Cappuccino Macaron, served alongside freshly baked scones and a selection of teas and champagne.
