The personal collection of Sir Roger Moore is set to provide licence to thrill as it goes on sale at Bonhams in October.

The sale will offer 180 lots – directly from Sir Roger’s family – in a sale at 101 New Bond Street. In the 50th anniversary year of his first appearance as James Bond (he would play 007 in seven films), highlights from the sale include his mohair double-breasted dinner suit worn in A View to a Kill (estimated at £20,000 to £30,000), his white ski suit (also from A View to a Kill), an Omega special edition 50 Years of 007 Seamaster watch and his Hollywood Walk of Fame plaque.

“We know how much our father meant to so many people across the globe,” said his children, Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian Moore. “We are delighted to be able to share his legacy with his many fans.”
