During Valentine’s week, guests at Il Borro Tuscan Bistrot will be invited to dine on a luxurious menu using the refined ingredients from the hills, fields and forests of Tuscany. Diners will begin with scallop carpaccio with wasabi peas and black truffle, followed by the likes of risotto con mosaico di pesce. Those with a sweet tooth can finish their evening with puddings including pink rosetterole: a choux, Chantilly cream and rose mousse. On Valentine’s Day itself, there will be a one-off performance from a violinist who has played alongside the likes of Beyonce and Adele.

Rich in dash fruits the A Love Letter From Paris (£18) features Belvedere vodka, Cherry Heering liqueur, Martini Riserva Speciale Bitter aperitif, maraschino syrup, fresh lemon juice, topped with Moët & Chandon Impérial Blanc N.V. Champagne. The Tentation de Philéas (£17) has notes of plum and nut by combining Belvedere vodka, Akashi-Tai shiraume ginjo umeshu, Chartreuse Yellow herbal liqueur, pandan syrup and citrus essence.
