An epic opportunity to study with a master artist at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and National Gallery in London

Bay Area Classical Artist Atelier is staging a master figure-drawing workshop across Oxford and London next month (July). Master artist, Jon deMartin, will draw the figure in the mediums and techniques consistent with the Renaissance, Baroque and 18th-century traditions.

Lectures and demonstrations will start each session, leading students through each phase of the drawing. Each workshop will highlight drawing the head and the hands with the venue – the Ashmolean Print Room at the museum – providing a unique creative space to learn.

The workshop will take place across five days, from July 22-29 and include three days of museum lectures (two at the National Gallery in London), five days of drawing from a live model and an end of class group dinner.
