Annabel’s has marked its grand reopening with an immersive art experience celebrating the work of symbolist painter, Gustav Klimt

The exclusive private club in Berkeley Square is paying homage to the Austrian’s ‘Golden Period’ with reinterpretations of his most recognisable and powerful works, including Danaë, The Kiss and Medicine.

The journey, which the club hopes will evoke feelings of hope, joy and love – at a time when we need them the most – begins with guests walking under a ‘tree of life’ arch at the entrance, where they will be greeted by a ‘tree of life’ installation, before encountering further interpretations throughout the building.

Keeping with the theme, the club has also created a Klimt-inspired cocktail list with a gold theme; such as ‘Judith’, made with Hennessy Cognac, Galliano L’Autentico, lemon foam and smoked paprika.
