Davies Street gallery BASTIAN is recreating Pablo Picasso’s Cannes studio as an immersive experience, featuring objects from the artist’s life, including furniture, sculptures, ceramics, drawings and prints.

The installation-style exhibition, Atelier Picasso, sheds light on the artist’s time in the south of France following World War II – evoking Picasso’s penchant for hoarding source materials and original artworks. The exhibition will also feature photographs by Picasso’s close friend André Villers, who took many portraits of the artist in his studio while he immersed himself in ceramics. Running until October 31.
