Olivo restaurant group has had to adapt to the enforced, necessary closures that are a significant threat to the future of many restaurants, and is still trying to serve as many customers as possible.
The Olivino delicatessen at 12 Lower Belgrave Street remains open, selling food and wines for six days of the week (closed on Sundays) – and the current opening hours are from 10am to 6pm. Most of the produce and drinks available in store are also available on Deliveroo. Grab yourself some fresh sourdough bread, made by baker Alessio of Sumeria Bakehouse – who also sells his breads from his stall at the Duke of York food market on Saturdays.
You can also order fresh fish and meat from Olivino, which comes direct from the site’s suppliers. This normally requires 24 hour notice. Please contact Olivino on 020 7730 9042 or at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a copy of the lists of available items or to place an order.
The group’s gelateria, Olivogelo at 26 Elizabeth Street also remains open for the sale of ice creams for collection only – and they can also be ordered through Deliveroo. It’s currently open from 2pm until 9pm and is closed on Mondays.
Oliveto at 49 Elizabeth Street and Olivocarne at 61 Elizabeth Street are both operating pick up from the premises or drop off to local locations. Details of the menu can be seen on the Olivo restaurants website and orders can be placed by phone to Oliveto on 020 7730 0074 and to Olivocarne on 020 7730 7997. Both restaurants are on Deliveroo, and Oliveto’s pizzas are proving popular – especially with the staff at the ICU Clinic at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, who are receiving daily deliveries from Oliveto, made possible by generous donors. Anybody who is interested in contributing to the scheme as a way of thanking NHS staff can call Oliveto on 020 7730 0074 to donate by credit card.
Olivomare and Olivo remain closed, but the team are working on plans to operate some services from both sites in the near future.
