Work is underway on the latest luxury development set to change the Battersea skyline.

The 15-storey block going up on Battersea Park Road offers a range of glamorous apartments and penthouses.

It is named The View because every home will look out over 200-acre Battersea Park opposite.

Commercial and office space will take up the first three floors, with flats above.

Three penthouses, with an asking price of around £3 million, will occupy the top floor. Each will have its own terraced view of Battersea Park and beyond.

Designed by award-winning architects Jo Cowen, the development will have intricately designed interiors.

There will also be communal garden spaces designed by Chelsea Flower Show Silver Gilt winner Randle Siddeley.

Will Herrmann, founder and CEO of West Eleven, is the inspiration behind The View.

He is behind a number of award-winning developments across London.

Residents will be able to take advantage of new underground and Thames Clipper services as well as the burgeoning food scene in Battersea thanks to the regeneration of nearby Battersea Power Station.
